Shahrir Bahar is the CEO and co-founder of Semuanya BOLA Sdn. Bhd - a company that is managing Malaysia’s no.1 football content website, semuanyabola.com and its household e-commerce site, thesbx.com. Since its inception in 2014, Semuanya BOLA has been consistently serving contents to over 1 million football fans in Bahasa Malaysia while generating over 8 millions pageviews monthly. Since 2016, Semuanya BOLA has received recognition and support from TERAJU and Cradle.
Having realised the potential of e-commerce market and the ever increasing trend of online shopping in Malaysia, Shahrir and his co-founders launched thesbx.com in 2016, an e-commerce site dedicated to sports fans and enthusiasts. Starting out with just three local brands, now thesbx.com has over 20 local and international brands under its catalogue including Lotto, Canterbury, Teva and Asics. Since 2017, Shahrir has also been serving as a sports retail digital media consultant for the biggest sports retailer in Southeast Asia.
Prior to this, Shahrir spent a total of 5 years in retails and trading, first as a honey supplier for stores in KLIA and later co-founded a food delivery start-up, FoodBits. However it was not until he co-founded Semuanya BOLA when he finally finds his calling and decides to turn his passion for sports into a meaningful career.
